Assistant Professor Christopher L. Cosper holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Mississippi State University (1994), and he is the first graduate of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design to concentrate in Critical Conservation (Master of Design Studies, 2012). His professional experience includes working for Guild & Grace Architects (now Eley Guild Hardy Architects), the Mississippi State University Physical Plant, Pryor & Morrow Architects, and Cosper & Associates. His built work includes the Marks-Rothenberg Building Renovation in Meridian, MS (as part of Pryor & Morrow) and the Starkville Electric Department Office Building in Starkville, MS, a LEED-certified project. “Working with students is a privilege, and I try to convey to students what William McMinn called the ‘power and passion’ of the built environment,” said Cosper. “I particularly enjoy working with students on the most challenging problems, such as integrating building systems into a design or creating a comprehensive capstone project.”
