The Architecture and Sustainability and Facility Management programs’ reputations for developing high-caliber graduates has resulted in a nearly 100% placement rate. Your future employers know you have been well prepared for professional life and that you will make valuable contributions to the organizations that are in your future.
Natasha Jurakhan, FMP, LEED AP, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Facility Management. The Class of 2007 graduate is living and working in Toronto, Canada, as Manager of Operations for the Mazenga Building Group, overseeing the construction of commercial and high-end residential projects in the Toronto area. It was the reputation of Ferris’ facility management program that brought the transfer student to Ferris.
Working in the construction industry is fast-paced, and many facets of a project need to be handled simultaneously. This is a skill Natasha developed at Ferris. “The FM program was very challenging with a lot of courses and demanding workload. Although it was challenging, I was able to manage my time effectively and excel in my courses. I have taken this valuable skill and have applied it to my very demanding job!”
But Natasha’s years at Ferris weren’t all work. Her best memory of school were the “late nights in the computer lab. I made a lot of great friends at Ferris who have remained friends to this day.”
